My name is Elrohir, but you can call me El or Elro! I started playing FFXIV in July 2021 and began my housing journey in December. Coming from building in Valheim, I was amazed with how you can express creativity in so many different ways with the items in FFXIV housing. Seeing what has been done by others has been so inspiring to me and it's motivated me to try and create my own style.If I'm not housing, you'll often find me socialising with friends or attempting to beat the hardest content in the game. This includes deep dungeon solo, savage raiding, maybe even ultimates in the future!Outside of FFXIV, I'm studying to become a Registered Nurse. I grew up playing sports, my main sport being tennis. As I was busy competing in Australian ranking tournaments as a teenager, I never really had much time to play video games. I've only started picking them up in my 20s and have been loving it!I hope you enjoy navigating through my carrd. If you are looking for someone to design your home but aren't sure of a style/layout. Note: The furnishing cost is an estimation and may vary depending on current market board prices or if you're an omnicrafter.
Process
Before I can start building your home, my priority is to be on the same page with you in order to achieve exactly what you want in your personal space. The process will go in the following order:1. Introduction
Please message me on discord with the following:
• House size + District
• Theme + Colour palette + Materials (E.g. Stone, wood, marble, concrete)
• Reference images2. Discussion
Here we will discuss in further detail what you want. E.g. Rooms, 'must haves', items.3. Agreement
If we both come an agreement, I will inform you when I am ready to start on the design. A 50% deposit is required before I start working on the build.4. Commencement of build
I have my own way of building ideas for your home. I will send you updates and previews of how your build is going to check in and get your feedback. This part is completely free and you will not have to spend any gil on furniture until the build is complete!5. Approval
Once the final design is complete I will send you screenshots for your approval. Once you have approved, the remaining 50% payment must be paid.6. Construction
Finally, I will send you a shopping list of furniture and dye required. Once you have all of the items, I will organise a time with you so I can construct your home in-game!
Terms of service
- Commissions may take up to 1-3 weeks to be finished depending on my irl commitments.
- I will not build a copy of another design (please do not send me a FFXIV build as reference).
- I don't do part commissions to finish off a build (e.g. basement already done, please only build on ground floor) or if I'm not allowed to use all available furniture slots (you may request for me to leave a few slots for NPCs, interactive furnishing or seasonal decorative items).
- I will contact you throughout the commission for feedback, particularly between the start and middle of the commission. Please be prompt in your responses to ensure there are no delays.
- If I reject a commission or you cancel before I start, the deposit will be refunded in full.
- I accept major changes in the plans during the start and the middle of the construction. I will not accept near the end when all the foundations are already placed.
- If I have already completed more than 50% of the commission, the deposit will not be refunded.
- At the end of the commission, I will take a number of screenshots to update my twitter, housingsnap and carrd. Please, don't make any immediate changes so I have time to do this.
- You are free to change the design as you see fit afterwards, however please let me know before you do so.
- I reserve the right to reject commissions that don't fit my style.
- Finally, I reserve the right to withdraw myself from a commission if I see any "red flags". Please respect, trust and be patient with me. My promise to you is that I will give you my best :)
Note: If the design is changed from my original product, I will not assist in fixing it or rebuilding it.
